Tourists will get Free Entry at Taj Mahal for 3 days for Shah Jahan’s Urs

Are you also planning for Agra tour on coming Sunday? Then Good news waiting for you. Like Every year, on commemoration of death anniversary of Shahjahan, Tourists will get exemption in entry charges at Taj Mahal for three days. 
The free entry days begin from 27th February to 1st march. This year is 367th Urs of the fifth Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and on this day, various rituals will be performed as chadar poshi, sandal, gusul, Kul & others.

As per reports, the entry timings will be from 2 PM till sunset on two days of February while on 1st march, it will be from sunrise to sunset. It is only time in a year when visitors are allowed to enter in the basement to visit & see the original graves of Shah Jahan & Mumtaj as well. To manage the throng of Tourists, security arrangements are also followed strictly with COVID-19 protocol guidelines. 

Apart from these three days entry to the monument also free on World Tourism Day every year. February to March is best time to visit Agra and the Famous Taj Mahal as weather remains very pleasant to roam in and around.
