Shanti View Point

Mountain

In the Indian state of Sikkim's East district, the town of Pakyong is home to the well-known tourist destination Shanti View Point. The viewpoint, as its name indicates, provides a tranquil and expansive view of the nearby mountains and valleys, making it a must-visit location for nature enthusiasts and photographers.

Visitors must climb a hill for around 30 minutes to get to the viewpoint, which is perched above it. People of all ages may enjoy the journey because it is not particularly challenging. With stunning views of the mountains and the Rani Khola river flowing below, the route leading up to the viewpoint is decorated with vibrant prayer flags.

The breathtaking Himalayan mountains, including Mt. Kanchenjunga, the third-highest peak in the world, will meet you after you reach the summit. The vista is an excellent place to see the dawn and sunset since the sky has a beautiful orange and pink color.

In addition to its natural splendor, Shanti View Point includes a tiny café where you can get food and drinks. Also, there are several picnic tables and benches where guests may unwind and take in the scenery.
When the sky is clear and the vistas are unhindered, the winter months of October to February are the greatest times to visit Shanti View Point. There is no entrance fee and the viewpoint is free to tourists daily from 8 am to 5 pm.

Overall, Shanti View Point is a serene and beautiful location to visit, and the trip there is well worth it for the breathtaking views it offers.
