Lachung

Lachung doesn't have an airport of its own, so the nearest airport is Bagdogra Airport in West Bengal. From there, one can take a private cab or shared taxi to reach Lachung. The airport is well connected to all the major cities in India, and many airlines operate regular flights to Bagdogra. It takes around 5-6 hours to cover the distance of approximately 200 km between Bagdogra and Lachung by road.

It is advisable to start early in the morning to avoid traffic and reach Lachung before sunset, especially during the winter months when daylight hours are limited.
