Doling Gompa

In the South Sikkim region of the Indian state of Sikkim Namchi town stands the Buddhist monastery known as Doling Gompa. It is among the oldest monasteries in the area and is thought to have been established in the first half of the eighteenth century. The monastery is perched atop a hill and provides sweeping views of the mountains and lowlands around.
