Mughal Gardens at Rashtrapati Bhawan to open for general public from Feb 12 to March 16

Every Year, Delhites get nature bounty at famous Mughal Gardens in month of February. In 2022, The Mughal Gardens, Delhi will remain open for general Public from 12th February to 16th March except on Mondays. 

On 10th February, President Ram Nath Kovind opened the annual Udyanotsav of Rashtrapati Bhavan. But like the previous year, this year too, visitors will be allowed to see the gardens only through advance online booking. Bookings can be made on rashtrapatisachivalaya.gov.in or rb.nic.in/rbvisit/visit_plan.aspx.
No Walk-in entry will be allowed in lieu of current situation of pandemic.  All precautionary measures will be followed with essential COVID protocols. 

Mughal Garden Entry Guidelines:

•    Mughal Garden timings are between 10 AM to 5 PM with last entry at 4 PM. 
•    Each visiting slot will accommodate a maximum of 100 people.
•    Visitors can carry mobile phones, but requested not to carry water bottles or eatables, camera etc.
•    Arrangements of hand sanitisers, drinking water, toilets, first aid/medical facility are provided at various points along the public route.
•    Following COVID protocols is mandatory as wearing mask, maintaining social distance, hand sanitisation.
•    Entry and exit for all visitors will be from Gate no. 35 of the President’s Estate, close to where North Avenue meets Rashtrapati Bhavan.
•    They will have to undergo thermal screening at the entry point, it said, adding that no visitor will be allowed without mask.

 

This Year, the main attraction will be 11 varieties of tulips with different colours blooming in Garden. Flower carpets in magnificent designs will also be on display in the central lawns, it said. The dominant colour scheme of this year’s ornamental flowers is white, yellow, red and orange. A small cactus corner has also been landscaped along with some air purifying plants in the gardens.
