Discover Uttarakhand Plans to Connect 17 Tourists Destinations In Kumaon to Promote Tourism

According to the latest travel news report, Pushkar Singh Dhami, Chief Minister, stated that they created many plans to promote the tourism industry in Kumaon. Over the next five years, the Uttarakhand state government plans to connect 17 tourist spots in the Kumaon region under the Manaskhand circuit. According to the reports, the project will link Kainchi Dham, Jageshwar Temple, Mukteshwar, Golu Devta Temple, and Purnagiri Temple. The CM said that the Kumaon has much potential and many scenic locations or places of religious importance. As such, the connectivity of the road gets broad to the said locations.


Furthermore, as a pilot project, a parking lot will also start near Kainchi Dham, followed by other locations. He also added that devotees come from different parts of the country or abroad to Kumaon hill station to seek the blessings of Golu Devta and Jageshwar Dham. Also, devotees come to Kainchi Dham of Baba Neem Karoli, and therefore, developing this circuit helps many tourists to visit various locations in a single visit.


According to the Tourism Minister, Satpal Maharaj, the department has identified several tourist destinations in the six districts of the Kumaon region in a bid to boost tourism.


Earlier, under the 13 districts, and 13 new tourist spots scheme, the government has identified Munisyari in the Pithoragarh region, Kausani in Bageshwar, and Lohaghat in Champawat, Mukteshwar in Nainital, Katarmal in Almora, and Parag Farm of Udham Singh Nagar. Also, the infrastructure work has been conducted under different themes in all of these locations.


According to the Minister, many people visit the Kumaon region, so the government thinks to honor them in this way. Also, said by Maharaj that they are working on various lines to attract more tourists to Kumaon.
