The Rajasthan Tourism is going to celebrate the colourful festival of Holi as 3 days event- Braj Holi Mahotsav at Bharatpur, Deeg & Kaman.

Braj is known area for following a unique culture and is spread from east of Rajasthan to neighbouring states of Uttar Pradesh. You must have heard of Holi of Vrindavan and Barsana played in unique style every year. The annual festival is celebration of rich traditions and include many performers to show their talent. The entire Braj get immersed in colors of Holi with deep devotion to Lord Krishna. Visitors from corners of country and even foreign countries come to play Holi and take part in different events organized at fest of Holi. From Flowers Holi to Lathmar holi, Holi with gulal or wet colors, every form you will see at the event.
To make the event more memorable, Tourism department has made many activities list including local sports, folk dance & music, cultural events aand many more. You can take part in many competitions as mehendi, Rangoli making, turban tying, moustache show.
The event will commence form Bharatpur where local sports as Kabbadi, kho-Kho will be organised at Stadium. The second day event will take place at Mela Maidan, Deeg while the closing day of event will be at Kaman. Here tourists can enjoy Gulal holi, Dudh-Dahi Holi, Laddu Holi and Lathmar holi at prominent Krishna temples of City. A shobhayatra will be carried out with performing folk artists form Gopinath Temple to Vallabh Ji temple. Enjoy the music at Braj rasiya Gayan events organized in evening with famous milk-based drinks and sweets.
This festival not only replicates the spirit of Holi but also impersonates the timeless love of Radha and Krishna. The highlight of this festival is the Raslila dance performed with great zest and unity. The entire town is painted and no one is spared from being splashed with colours. The festival is celebrated with great pomp and ceremony in the Bharatpur District. Visitors of all age will get enthralled with local sports and cultural performance.
