37th Hunar Haat Expo in Hyderabad from 25th Feb- 6th March

The 37th “Hunar Haat” is organized at NTRE Stadium, Indira Park in Hyderabad for 10 days began from 25th February. The Event will be inaugurated by Union Culture Minister and Union Minister for Minority affairs on 27th February.

The motive behind the Haat is to promote India’s traditional legacy of Handloom, Handicraft & culinary. The theme is inspired with Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. It will offer employment opportunities to more than 8 lakh artisans and craftsmen from more than 30 states and Uts.

Hunar Haat is a platform to provide market and opportunities to centuries-old traditional and ancestral arts and crafts of India, will strengthen the ‘swadeshi’ and the ‘vocal for local’ campaign. The event has been organised from past few years in different states where artisans from across the country can be showcases under one roof. Visitors will get Pan-India experience with display of their handmade and indigenous products. 

Keeping the prevailing time of hygiene, all adequate arrangements have been made to ensure health, hygiene & safety. 

Key Points to attend the Event:

•    Entry Timings are 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
•    There would be no entry fee
•    Wearing a mask is mandatory for entry with following other protocols.

Visitors will see rare handmade indigenous products made by clay, wood, iron, brass, marble, glass etc. While get a culinary experience with traditional dishes of various states. Various cultural and musical programmes by renowned artists will be also a major attraction depicting history and freedom tale of India beautifully. 

In upcoming days, Hunar Haats will also be organised in New Delhi, Mysuru, Pune, Ahmedabad, Sikkim, Agra and many more cities.
