Sawai Man Mahal Launched by IHCL in Jaipur with 51 lavish rooms

Recently Sawai Man Mahal was inaugurated by Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) in Jaipur. Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II, the final king of the princely state of Jaipur, is honoured by the heritage palace, which is situated next to the magnificent Rambagh Palace.

They were thrilled that Sawai Man Mahal has now been added to the exquisite collection of royal palaces at IHCL. Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of IHCL, stated. He further continued that IHCL is happy and proud to have been able to represent India's magnificent heritage with some of the country's most iconic palaces that date back to the pre-independence era.

The "Jewel of Jaipur," the Rambagh Palace, has been managed for 50 years, he said, adding that the opening of this property represents a historic milestone. We are still appreciative of the trust that Maharaj Jai Singh and Maharaj Vijit Singh have placed in us, and we look forward to advancing the region's enormous tourism potential through the continuation of this partnership, he concluded.

Since IHCL began running Jaipur's renowned Rambagh Palace, our journey has spanned 50 years. When they assumed control of the Ramgarh and Sawai Madhopur Lodges under IHCL- SeleQtions in 1988, and are currently in charge of the Sawai Man Mahal, our relationships were further strengthened. Maharaj Jai Singh and Maharaj Vijit Singh, Directors of Rambagh Palace Hotel Pvt Ltd, auxiliary declared that IHCL is in fact the custodian of Indian hospitality on the global stage.

There are 51 rooms which all have their own courtyards that they all open to. The 187-year-old Golden Gate, Rambagh Palace's original gold-gilded entry, is also displayed on the palace's portico, which pays homage to Amber Fort.
