Kedarnath's opening dates in 2023 have been announced today on the auspicious day of Maha Shivratri. All the preparations were on the swing at Ukhimath before the announcement of dates. The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee had done all the preparations for the ceremony of Doors opening. The dates in 2023 have been decided for 25th April.
Like every year, a program had been organized at Omkareshwar Temple on Shivratri. It is the winter temple of Baba Kedar. After bathing and adorning God, prasad and bhog had offered along with Mahabhishek Puja in the sacred premises by temple priests. After this, Vedpathi Panchag declared the date of opening the doors of Kedarnath Dham.
As per reports, A new system will be implemented this year which will include separate arrangements from registration to darshan in all four Dhams.
