Incredible India Digital Marketspace Platform- Initiative by Ministry of Tourism to promote Indian Tourism

Indian Tourism has a special place on world map for its heritage, traditions and diversified culture. The Tourism Ministry of India has taken an initiative to bring the Indian Tourism in Digital Marketplace and increase the engagement through digital market and Virtual tour concepts. Ministry has started the process through its Nodal agency ITDC. They have already floated an e-tender to shortlist a private agency to visualize, develop, design, update and maintain the digital platforms of Tourism sector. The motive of the proposed platform is to connect, engage, educate the travel fraternity in various verticals and show potential of India as a major tourist destination in the area of leisure, medial tourism, adventure, wildlife, heritage, rural experience etc. in international markets.

Besides this, Government is welcoming ideas of platforms which can provide services like virtual tour of Indian destinations, monuments, experiences with defined travel structure. The Government has also researched on various successful existing models used by various tourism boards overseas. 
In context of proposal, Rajasthan Studio had presented an idea of Travel Experiences Identification Tags and Road trip Definition on National Start up day 2022. The idea will lead to promote Virtual tourism where people can virtually explore famous destinations of India with real travel experience. 

PM Modi Government is taking new initiatives regularly to promote Indian Culture & tourism. Whether its Spiritual tourism or wellness tourism, Yoga or digital connectivity, various projects are lined up to give a boost. Latest Developments are Vishwanath Corridor Development at Varansai, new Temple foundation stone at Somnath Temple Complex, Kedarnath Dham Corridor etc. Government is also working to develop good connectivity across Ramayan Circuit and Buddhist Circuit.
