Valley of Flowers Trek

The trip continues from Ghangaria to the Valley of Flowers, a stunning meadow at an elevation of 3,658 meters (12,001 feet). The reasonably simple hike takes two to three hours to complete. A stunning wildflower meadow, featuring Himalayan blue poppies, daisies, and primroses, may be seen as the route winds through it. The Himalayan bellflower, Himalayan cobra lily, and Himalayan snowcock are just a few of the rare and endangered plant species that call the Valley of Flowers their home. A variety of endangered animal species, including the Himalayan black bear, snow leopard, and musk deer, also call the park home. 

Trekkers have the option of returning to Ghangaria after exploring the Valley of Flowers or continuing on to the 4,329-meter-high Sikh holy site known as Hemkund Sahib (14,200 feet). The longer and more difficult Hemkund Sahib walk takes around 4-5 hours to complete. The track includes several challenging ascents and provides breathtaking views of the neighboring summits. The Valley of Flowers trip is a stunning hiking track that provides amazing views of the nearby mountains and valleys, so to sum it up, it's a great hike. The park is a special ecosystem and a must-visit location for nature lovers and adventure seekers since it is home to several rare and endangered plant and animal species. When the park is in full bloom and the weather is suitable for trekking, the walk is best completed from July to September.
