
Valley of Flowers Trek
A stunning national park known as The Valley of Flowers may be found in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, India. The park is renowned for its colorful alpine flower meadows, picturesque surroundings, and distinctive biodiversity. The hiking path across the park that offers breath-taking vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys is known as the Valley of Flowers trek.
About 1,800 meters (5,906 feet) above sea level, Govindghat, the starting point of the trip, is a hamlet. By car from the town of Rishikesh or by plane from the capital city of Delhi to the closest airport in Dehradun, hikers may go to Govindghat. The journey leaves Govindghat and follows a clearly designated path through forested areas, alpine meadows, and high altitude passes. Trekkers go from Govindghat to Ghangaria, a tiny village at an elevation of 3,050 meters, on the first stage of the journey (10,006 feet). It takes about 5 to 6 hours to finish the simple hike. The route gives breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains as it winds through a lovely grove of birch and pine trees.
