With regular developments in road infrastructure, Rajasthan is going to get new road infrastructure which will decrease the travel time from Capital city to Jaipur-Capital of Rajasthan. After March 2022, you can complete the road trip just in 2-3 hours with Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. The route will pass through Dhaula Kuan, Gurugram, Sohna Mumbai Expressway. As per the recent updates, the road will be signal-free and the project completion deadline is March 2022. It will be the longest expressway in India with a length of 1380 Kilometres.
The under-construction expressway was scheduled to get completed in November but due to COVID, it gets delayed, and now the expected time is March 31. This passes through Dousa, which is 60 Km apart from Jaipur &connected with NH-21. High-speed vehicles with more than 110 km/h can cover the 270 km distance between 2 to 3 hours.
It will be the first phase of the dream project of the longest expressway while the complete project has an expected deadline by March 2023. The highway is expected to cross from the tribal districts of Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Madhya Pradesh. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari believes this will develop the areas and create many employment opportunities for residing people of corresponding states.
