DELHI


Delhi has imposed a night curfew from 11 PM to 5 AM after it sees that Omicron brings more COVID Curbs again in India with a rise in Coronavirus cases. As per recent reports, the national capital has witnessed a rise in COVID cases in the last few days.


MADHYA PRADESH


The Madhya Pradesh state has imposed a night curfew from 11 PM to 5 AM. CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan adds that more measures will be taken where and when required.


GUJARAT


Gujarat has extended the schedule of night curfew by two hours in eight cities with effect from 25 December. That means from now on, the night curfew will remain implemented from 11 PM to 5 AM instead of 1 AM 5 AM. As per the recent report, the new timings will be executed in Junagadh, Ahmedabad, Surat, Gandhinagar, Vadodara, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, and Rajkot.


UTTAR PRADESH


The UP has declared to impose a night curfew to prevent gatherings of people in public places. The timings will be from 11 PM to 5 AM. As per reports, it said that there will be limit the number of people attending events to 200. The CM of UP Yogi Adityanath instructs people to follow COVID protocols at events all the time.


MAHARASHTRA


As per the recent reports, Maharashtra is the first hit spot with the highest number of Omicron cases. To prevent from further spread of the virus, the state has imposed a night curfew and restricted gatherings of more than five people from 9 PM to 6 AM. With the many restrictions, the government adds that all said measures will be taken to avoid the crowd during the festive time.
