Nagaland Begins a Novel Campaign to Promote Off-Road Travel

Nagaland is getting ready to develop as an all-terrain touring destination in India to promote internal tourism to people.

The state is highly recognized for being secluded and tranquil; keeping with the theme the government is set to endorse off-road tourism according to reports. The government has joined forces with Wander Beyond Boundaries (WBB) as their touring partner in this initiative and is prepared to curate the ‘Nagaland Off-Road’ experience for extreme ground travel.

In the light of the dispersal of tourism traces beyond the recognized cities of Dimapur and Kohima, to encase the distinctive culture and exceptional landscapes of the secluded areas, ‘Nagaland Off-Road’ will be deemed as a one-of-kind experience for the astute globetrotter looking to not only discover but also to live in the raw truths of these remote area traversing moments.

Statements also suggest that WBB & Nagaland Tourism have mutually declared this mission by giving new advantages to travelers to unearth these areas. The tourists interested can hire 4x4 self-drive vehicles to assist their travel exploration.

Reports say that pathways and routes have been pinned down thoroughly which will help travelers and visitors sift through the spots in an inimitable way to understand the local culture, people, and way of life.

Furthermore with all the choices to spoil more on one’s own self-thought-out itinerary, Nagaland Off-Road will also be including self-drive excursions for aficionados which will provide a more in-depth experience of the natural and lifestyle of tribes which are stated across the locations.

To aid the initiative of the government, WBB will be curating significant add-ons by giving support to geographical, technical, and research-based proficiency for the off-road pathways.

Talking about the proposal, Kitto Zhimomi, Commissioner, Secretary, Nagaland Tourism stated that the intention is to utilize the vehicle of Nagaland Off-Road to generate a source of revenue for people residing in these remote parts.

This major change will bring aid to the local economy and the additional services can be homestays, workshops, arts and crafts, traditional foods, and other adventure sports like trekking, mountain biking, etc, stated Mr. Zhimomi.

‘Nagaland Off-Road’ is put together for unique off-road pursuits which enable visitors district-wise to map up the vicinity on an independent journey, further added Mr. Zhimomi.
