Kashmir is blooming with throng of tourists after a long gap of 7 years

Kashmir Tourism has seen a record high tourist footfall after seven years timespan. The beautiful Kashmir valley noted a total number of 1,27,605 travelers in November 2021excceded by approx 20% from last December. As reported by the administration of Jammu and Kashmir, the figure is too high compared to all data in the last seven years in this month.

The director of Kashmir Tourism, Dr. Ghulam Nabi Itoo, said almost 127000 tourists came to visit in November, and about 93000 tourists looked up in October. That is a surprising record in the past seven-year that Kashmir documented a huge number of tourist visitors in two months. He added that is an effect of many promotions like roadshows organized in the country to give rise to tourism in Kashmir.Engagement of tourists has hiked too after the second wave of Covid 19.

Kashmir government organized almost 21 road shows in the country after the second wave of the corona. All the member-associated with Tours and travel were vaccinated soon in the Kashmir valley. It boosted up the confidence of tourists. 

Kashmir celebrated International Mountain Day(December 11), Christmas, and New Year with lots of fun and enthusiasm. New Year and Christmas Eve festivals were organized, which increased the attraction of people in the Kashmir valley. It seems as winter has brought cheers back in the Valley with blooming Tulips and snow-capped peaks. J & K administration is planning to open few more tourist spots as Sonamarg and Dodhapatri.
 
The lack of flight connectivity with Europe due to pandemic has increased the tourism opportunities in Gulmarg. Here tourists can enjoy slopes, snow as Europe in good budget.
