The Indian Railways launched the Bharat Gaurav Trains in November 2021 as part of the Union Government's Dekho Apna Desh strategy to enhance domestic tourism. The purpose behind developing the special tourist train is to experience India's vast cultural history, therefore providing both local and international tourists with a tour of the wonderful historical landmarks.
The unique tourist train would feature three AC classes and 600 seats (Standard – 300 and Superior – 300). If a person wishes to travel in the Superior category, the cost (per person) is Rs 31,500 for single occupancy, Rs 24,230 for double/triple occupancy, and Rs 21,810 for children (5 to 11 years of age).
