India got its first Bamboo Village at Tripura

The Tripura Bamboo Village is first eco-friendly park with theme of bamboos all around in the Park Development. State-of-Art design, common facilities, technology and eco-friendly attributes make this Bamboo Village famous in Tripura. As per the reports, the Village can attract yoga and meditation lovers, tourists, environmentalist, foreigners and nature admirers. 

Tripura Bamboo Park is located at katalmara in West Tripura on the Indo-Bangladesh border. The Tripura Bamboo Village features a yoga centre, a playground, ponds with beautiful flowers, bamboo bridges, bamboo huts and eco-friendly facilities and systems. 

Bamboo cottages

Various species of natural plants, herbs, plants, bamboo plants, shrubs, flowers make this Bashgram a perfect place for nature lovers. The village can expect a museum where obsolete, endangered, new species of bamboo plants can be showcased. Motive behind the Bamboo village theme is to utilize local and natural resources without disturbing nature and convert the place into a world class medical tourism centre. It will also support the livelihood of local residents there. 

A big watch tower in 'Bashgram' enables the visitors to witness the scenic beauty of the nearby tea gardens and areas on the other side of the India-Bangladesh border.

Bamboo Village Tripura

On the same concept, The Himachal Pradesh Government will also setup a bamboo village on 24-Kanal land at Boul village in Una district that will create employment for youth in rural areas. A special variety of bamboo- bema bamboo will be produced and utilized to develop Oxygen park. 
These initiatives will help in maintaining good environment and example of green India.
