First Coastal Zipline launched in Devgad, Maharashtra by Flying Konkan

With rising demand of adventure sports in tourism sector, many sports ventures are coming up with new ideas of adventure activities that can attract more tourists. In context of that, A famous Adventure Sports Venture, Flying Konkan has launched India’s first Coastal zipline at Devgad Coast of Maharashtra. Founder of the venture want to promote the water sports tourism with wide expansion of beaches & coastlines in state. 

The initiative will surely redefine beach adventure & create job opportunities for youth with different expertise.

The on-coast ziplining would be a unique experience with zooming forward in air looking a splendid view of Coast mixed with thrill & excitement. The Zipline activity will remain open almost throughout the year except rainy season. It is State’s longest zipline done under the supervision of industry experts.

In India, several ziplining options are available in Rishikesh, Rajasthan, Goa & Maharashtra. But this one is first on coast with height of 280 metres from sea level and length of 1885 metres. The wire rope is made of Usha-martin steel with a thickness of 12 mm. The landing point is at a height of 40 m from the ground and is accessed through steel staircase. 

The concept was idealized in 2016 and get shape in 2021 after all research, planning, paperwork, trials & security checks. They will also come up with facilities of Surfing and Bunjee jumping soon to boost beach tourism.
