Chardham Opening Dates 2022
The Yamunotri Temple and Gangotri Temple opens on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya followed by opening of Badrinath & Kedarnath Dham. Yamunotri Dham get closed at the day of Bhai Dooj/Yama Dwitiya while the Gangotri Dham closes on the day of Deepawali.

On the eve of Basant Panchami 2022, opening of Badrinath Dham has been decided, which if from 8th May 2022. The day get announced followed by a ritual of sending oil containing pitcher to the temple. Kedarnath Dham opening date is decided on auspicious day of Mahashivratri and usually declared by the Chardham temple committee before the holy day of Akshay Tritiya.
