History of Amrit Udyan (Mughal Garden)

Mughal gardens are a significant aspect of Indian architectural and horticultural history, known for their unique design, aesthetic beauty, and cultural significance. These gardens were developed during the Mughal dynasty, which ruled over the Indian subcontinent from the early 16th to the mid-19th century.

The Mughal emperors were inspired by Persian and Central Asian garden traditions, and they adapted these concepts to create their own distinctive style of gardens in India. Mughal gardens are characterized by their symmetrical layout, terraced levels, flowing water channels, fountains, pools, and a harmonious blend of horticulture and architecture.
On 28 January 2023, The Mughal Garden was renamed Amrit Udyan by Our president Draupadi Murmu. If you also want to book tickets online visit the official website and follow all the procedures like preferred date, ticket category, Convenient booking and Digital Confirmation, timing, and all.
