This January Join Skydiving Festival in Madhya Pradesh with Mandu Festival

The famed Mandu Festival and Sky Diving Festival will be held in Madhya Pradesh over the next ten days, providing visitors and local aficionados with a feast of art, craft, music, tradition, and adventure.

The popular historic hill fort town of Mandu in Dhar district will host the Mandu Festival from January 7 to 11 and the adventure-laden Skydiving Festival will be held in Ujjain from January 5 to 15, said Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Sheo Shekhar Shukla in press release.

Shukla, who is also the managing director of the MP Tourism Board, stated that this year's activities are noteworthy since leaders from around the world will be in Madhya Pradesh for the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas, Global Investors Meet, and G-20 summit.

Mandu Festival

Shukla stated that, in addition to the 5-day events planned for the fourth edition of the Mandu festival, one of the main attractions would be a 90-day tent city that will spring to life in the old town.

Live music concerts, cycling tours, adventure sports and activities, art and culture exhibitions, light and sound shows, rural tourism, yoga and meditation sessions, heritage walks, and performances of traditional folk dance and music by local artists are among the major activities planned for the festival.

Tourists may also enjoy a stunning and astounding panoramic view of Mandu city via a hot air balloon trip organised in partnership with the E-Factor Entertainment organisation. Mandu Festival, according to Jai Thakur, COO and co-founder of E-Factor Entertainment, will have something unique in store for everyone.

Skydiving fest

The second edition of the Skydiving Festival will begin on January 5 at Ujjain's Datana Airstrip. The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board's Sky Diving Festival, launched to promote adventure tourism in the state, will finish on January 15. Sky-High India, a DGCA and USPA-accredited business, is in charge of these activities, according to Shukla. He stated that the activity would be carried out with the assistance of highly experienced professionals, and participants will be able to feel the excitement of seeing Mahakal from a height of 10,000 feet.
