Cycling and motorbiking are the best experiences in valleys of Uttarakhand. As per the latest reports, an adventurous cycle rally will be organised in second week of May from Gunji to Adi Kailash in Pithoragarh district. The initiative has been taken to draw attention of tourists & promote tourism to visit villages close to the Indo-China Border.
The cycling adventure will adore by nature lovers & adventure enthusiasts both. DM of district stated that for the first time, this type of event will be organised in border village. Participants of the rally will have to cover a distance of 36 kilometres on to and fro travel route of Gunji Village & Adi Kailash.
He also stated that officials are instructed to form a committee to look after all arrangements. A dozen cycle lovers from various states as Jharkhand are excited to join the rally and participate in the event.
As per PTI report which quotes Chauhan: “An event like this is being organised as Union Minister of State for Defence Ajay Bhatt is taking a keen interest in vitalising border villages through such adventure activities”.
“Further, a 10-day national level trekking expedition from Khaliya Top to Rurkhan has been flagged off in Munsiyari. Over 300 trekkers from 17 states are taking part in the event.”
