Welcome the World's Longest River Cruise From Varanasi to Assam via Bangladesh in January 2023

As per the latest reports, the longest river cruise in the World- Ganga Vilas Cruise is all set to begin its 50 dyas journey from Varanasi to Dibrugarh in upcoming January. The news was announced by Union Ministry of Ports & waterways. The cruise will travel through Kolkata and Bangladesh covering 4000 km.

The motive behind the cruise launch is to promote tourism & develop good bond between visitors of both countries. According to reports, the cruise will pass through national parks, sanctuaries and Sunderbans Delta. Cruise passengers can witenss the magnificent Ganga Aarti at one of the Assi Ghats of Ganga in Varanasi, check out the natural wonders of the world's largest mangrove forest in Sunderbans & black magic of Mayong. The cruise will have 18 luxury suites and other luxurious facilities to offer.

The endeavoring initiative has taken under Indo-Bangladesh trade protocol route connecting Ganga and Brahmaputra rivers. It is the largest with covering 27 river systems and more than 50 tourist sites. The route of the ship will initaite in Varanasi and reach Patna in 8 days. It will cover 1100 Km river route in Bangladesh before entering again in India. Proposed Date to begin the cruise sail: 10th Januray 2023

The 50 Days cruise ship is result of Public Private Partnership model in collaboartion with Government. The fare for boarding the cruise ship hasn't been announced yet but according to reports, the central government will not be interfering in the setting of the price. The operators will set the price based on a cost-plus basis. The cruise will place India & Bangladesh on river cruise map. Definetly, the New cruise will write a new history in travel world.
