Chandratal Lake

Chandratal Lake sometimes referred to as the "Moon Lake," is a high-altitude lake that may be found in Himachal Pradesh, India's Spiti Valley. It is one of the most well-liked tourist destinations in the area and is located at a height of 4,300 meters above sea level.

The lake is a weird and otherworldly setting, surrounded by high snow-capped peaks and desolate hills. Visitors are astounded by the captivating scene that is created by the water's crystal-clear blue reflection of the mountains and sky in the area. The locals also revere Chandratal Lake as a sacred location, and several tales and legends surround it. Visitors can walk or ride a horse from the parking area to the lake, which is reachable by road. Depending on the person's degree of fitness, the trek lasts between two and three hours. Around the lake, there are various campsites where guests can pitch their tents.
