Malana

Malana is a tiny, historic village located in Himachal Pradesh's Parvati Valley. The community is renowned for its distinct culture, traditions, and rituals, all of which have endured for many years. The inhabitants of Malana pride themselves on having a unique identity and ancestry and seeing themselves as direct ancestors of Alexander the Great.
The settlement is only reachable by foot and is located at an elevation of 2,652 metres above sea level. Beautiful valleys, rivers, and snow-capped mountains are all encountered on the hike to Malana. The pine and deodar forests that envelop the settlement are lush and verdant, adding to its allure.
Malana's residents follow different laws, customs, and a language from the rest of India. They adhere to a stringent code of behaviour and forbid visitors from entering or even touching their residences or personal property. The hamlet is well-known for its well-known Malana Cream hashish, which is regarded as one of the best in the world.
Malana is a haven for trekkers and adventure seekers in addition to having a distinctive culture and traditions and breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas. Several hiking paths surround the settlement, including the well-known Chandrakhani Pass trip, which leads through some of the most stunning scenery in the area.
