Ram Jhula

The bridge is approximately 450 feet long and is suspended at a height of 59 feet above the river. It is made of iron cables and is similar in design to the iconic Laxman Jhula, another famous bridge located in Rishikesh.

The bridge offers a breathtaking view of the Ganges river and the surrounding mountains. Visitors can take a leisurely stroll on the bridge, or hire a bicycle or a scooter to explore the area.

The area around Ram Jhula is bustling with shops and restaurants, where visitors can enjoy local cuisine and shop for souvenirs. The famous Parmarth Niketan ashram, known for its spiritual and yoga programs, is also located near Ram Jhula.

Ram Jhula is especially lively during festivals like Diwali and Holi when it is illuminated with colorful lights and decorations. Visitors can also witness the Ganga Aarti, a spiritual ritual where devotees offer prayers to the river Ganges, at the nearby Triveni Ghat.
