
Maheshwari Kund
A stunning stepwell called Maheshwari Kund may be found in the Uttarakhand city of Pithoragrah. It is a one-of-a-kind architectural wonder that honours the area's illustrious past and rich cultural heritage. The stepwell bears Rani Maheshwari's name, the monarch who ordered its building.
The Maheshwari Kund has 107 steps and a depth of 40 feet, and the walls are decorated with elaborate carvings and sculptures.
Beautiful statues of gods and goddesses, such as Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Ganesha, are placed throughout the kund. The carvings are a beautiful illustration of the skilled craftsmanship of the craftspeople of that time.
