Pangot

Pangot is a scenic hamlet in the Uttarakhand district of Nainital, India. The region is recognised for its peaceful and calm ambience, making it a great getaway from the rush and bustle of city life. The birdlife in Pangot is one of its key draws. Many bird species live in the area, including the Himalayan griffon, black francolin, and blue-winged minla. The greatest time to visit for birding is between March and June when the region's migrating species arrive.
