Umberella Falls
The Umbrella Falls, also known as the Dhobi waterfall, is a beautiful and fun destination in India. The waterfall is named after its unique shape, which resembles an open umbrella. There is also a ropeway that leads to the top of the waterfall, where visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. It is located at a distance of 500m from Bhandara and is one of the best waterfalls in Maharashtra. The picturesque umbrella fall is formed when the Wilson dam overflows and water gushes out from a small opening over a semicircular rock. It looks very dreamy and beautiful.
The water body is also used for generating electricity through hydroelectric power generation. The waterfalls will be enjoyable during monsoon season when the dam reaches its full capacity and is the ideal match for a refreshing vacation in Maharashtra.
