Patan

Rani ki Vav is an intricately designed stepwell located in Patan, Gujarat. The UNESCO World Heritage Site is believed to have been built in the 11th century by Queen Udayamati in memory of her husband King Bhimdev I. The stepwell features elaborate carvings depicting mythological scenes, as well as intricate designs that were intended to guide visitors to the water at the bottom.

The festival features a range of events, including traditional music and dance performances, handicraft exhibitions, and food stalls selling local delicacies. The festival is held in honor of Rani ki Vav, one of Patan's most iconic landmarks.
 

Patan is known for its unique and flavorful cuisine, which features a mix of Gujarati and Rajasthani influences. Some of the must-try dishes include dhokla, a steamed cake made from fermented lentil and rice batter; khandvi, a savory snack made from chickpea flour and yogurt; and fafda, a crispy snack made from gram flour and served with chutney.
