Girnar Parikrama is a holy pilgrimage route located in the Girnar mountain range of Gujarat, India. It is a circular trail that covers a distance of approximately 36 kilometers around the Girnar mountain range. The pilgrimage is considered one of the most challenging and sacred journeys for Hindu devotees.
The Jain saint Neminath is credited with founding the Girnar Parikrama more than 2,500 years ago. It is regarded as one of India's most important and historic pilgrimages. Every year during the holy month of Kartik (October–November), which is seen as an auspicious period for the pilgrimage, thousands of devotees make this journey.
The Girnar mountain range and the surrounding area may be seen in stunning detail from the trip. It is a demanding trek that calls for both physical and mental stamina. Yet, completing the Girnar Parikrama is seen as a very rewarding and enlightening experience.
