Sudama Setu
It is a brand-new bridge called Sudama Setu. It links the Dwarka peninsula to Bet Dwarka, a little island that serves as a major pilgrimage site in the Arabian Sea. The bridge was given the name Sudama in honor of Lord Krishna's childhood companion Sudama, who is rumored to have paid him a visit in Dwarka.
The Government of Gujarat started building Sudama Setu to enhance transit options to Bet Dwarka, a significant pilgrimage destination for followers of Lord Krishna. The bridge is a cable-stayed bridge, measuring 2.32 kilometers in length and 12.5 meters in width. Since its opening in October 2020, it has gained popularity with tourists.
