Diu Fort

The fort, which has an area of around 38,000 square metres, is situated on the eastern side of Diu Island. On three sides, the Arabian Sea forms a spectacular background for the fort's imposing walls and bastions. In addition, the fort is home to a number of significant buildings, such as a jail, church, and lighthouse.

Diu Fort's architecture is a blend of Portuguese and Indian styles, and the fort's design reflects the cultural influences that shaped the region's history. The fort's walls are adorned with intricate carvings and inscriptions, and the interiors of the fort are equally impressive, featuring beautiful courtyards, fountains, and gardens.
