
A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Memorial
The A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Memorial honours the late Indian President Dr A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. It's at Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, India. Dr Kalam, India's President from 2002 to 2007, is also known as the "Missile Man of India" for his contributions to the development of the country's missile programme.
The memorial covers an area of 2.5 acres and is located on the Indian Ocean's coastlines. It has a Dr Kalam monument, a museum, and a library. The statue of Dr Kalam is constructed of bronze and is 15 feet tall. Dr Kalam is portrayed in a serious position, clutching a book in one hand and a globe in the other.
