The Naini Lake is located in the bustling Model Town neighbourhood of North Delhi. This 6.5-acre water body offers the option to boat on its glistening waters or enjoy a stroll along its shores. With its centre fountain, scattered ducks, and breezy, calm atmosphere, it's ideal for family vacations as well as picnics with friends.
A densely populated residential neighbourhood surrounds the lake. It's a nice, well-to-do neighbourhood, but it's so densely packed that you won't see the lake from afar. The lake itself is well-kept, and there is a little island in the centre of it with a tree that provides a home for numerous water birds.
The lake is encircled by well-built promenades for a quick stroll and several culverts for relaxing after that long walk. The perimeter is bordered by large palm trees, and the entire lake region has a calm appearance that provides a welcome escape from the limits of the bustling metropolis.
You may select between pedal boats and shikaris (Kashmiri-style boats). A pedal boat can transport up to four people, whereas a shikhara can transport up to six people.
