National Zoological Park

The white tiger, a rare and gorgeous beast native to India, is one of the zoo's centrepieces. Other large cats, such as lions, leopards, and jaguars, may also be seen in the zoo. Visitors may get up and personal with these magnificent animals while learning about their habits and surroundings.

The zoo also has a large number of primates, including orangutans, chimps, and langurs. Visitors may observe these sophisticated creatures swinging from tree to tree and interacting with one another in their natural environments.

The National Zoological Park is a birder's heaven. Almost 200 bird species are housed in the zoo, including flamingos, pelicans, and hornbills. Guests may get up close and personal with these colourful and interesting critters while learning about their distinct characteristics and habits.

Apart from animals, the National Zoological Park offers a botanical garden with a diverse diversity of flora and wildlife. The garden is home to approximately 100 tree and plant species, many of which are uncommon or endangered.

For visitors of all ages, the zoo also offers educational programmes and seminars. These initiatives aim to raise awareness about animal protection and encourage sustainable living.
