Is travelling from Delhi to Jaisalmer will be comfortable?

Yes, travelling from Delhi to Jaisalmer can be comfortable when the journey is planned with the right expectations and timing. The route is long, but most of the highways are in good condition, making road travel smooth and manageable. Many tourists choose to break the journey with an overnight halt, which helps avoid fatigue and makes the experience more relaxed. Experiencing Desert Safari and camping with a road trip is very unique.

Comfort also depends on choosing a travel option that allows flexibility. Being able to stop for meals, stretch breaks, or short sightseeing detours makes a big difference on a long-distance route like this. Weather plays a role too—traveling during cooler months makes the drive far more pleasant.

With sensible planning and the right vehicle such as Tempo Traveller on Rent, trip to Jaisalmer is not tiring, but rather a scenic and enjoyable start to a memorable Rajasthan experience.

I had recently been to Jaisalmer, and in my experience, a road trip from Delhi to Jaisalmer can be tiring, as it will be more than 16 hours. Well, one way to not have a tiring journey is to plan a break journey with a stop at Jaipur or Jodhpur once.

Jaisalmer is one of my favorite places, and I enjoyed folk dance during desert camping, dune bashing, camel safari and sunset views.
