The year 2026 is here and again a chance to go on Char Dham Yatra. If you are planning for years and want to do this year, note the Chardham start date- 19th April- announced on Basant panchami for Yamunotri. For kedarnath Dham, official dates will be announced on MahaShivratri.

Every year, the opening dates coincided with Akshay Tritiya- a very auspicious day.

To get darshan on very first day, you can start your yatra by 17th April to reach Yamunotri by 19th and proceed to Gangotri on 20th. The yatra takes 10 to 12 days to complete from Haridwar.
