Know Date, Place, Tickets, Entry Fee of Rann of Kutch Utsav 2023-24

Get ready for an exciting experience this November 10, 2023, as Dhordo village of Gujarat, honoured as the UNWTO Best Tourism Village 2023, comes alive with the buzz of activities during the annual Rann Utsav. This vibrant festival is the perfect way to kickstart your winter season. With its white salt desert under the moonlight, the shimmering landscape is bound to steal your heart.

Rann Utsav is a celebration of cultural music, dance, traditions, and the exquisite natural beauty of the region. Dive into various activities, including camel cart excursions, adventurous paramotoring, yoga sessions, and staying in luxurious tents, among other exciting experiences. 

Organised by the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited, the Rann Utsav is spread across a 5 Lakh sq meter, adorned with over 350 luxurious tents and thrilling activities. It is a grand celebration spanning over 100 fulfilling days.

Rann Utsav Dates: The festival runs from 10th Nov 2023 to 25th Feb 2024.

Place: The Rann Utsav festival unfolds its magic in Dhordo, a village located in the Kutch district, Gujarat.

Rann Utsav Entry Permit Fee:

Free entry for children aged 5 years and below.
INR 50 for children above 5 and below 12 years.
INR 100 for individuals aged 12 years and above.

Rann Utsav Vehicle Entry Fee:

INR 25 for two-wheelers.
INR 50 for four-wheelers.

How to Reach the Rann Utsav

Getting to the Rann Utsav is convenient, with various transportation options available. There are frequent buses, both private and state-owned, connecting Bhuj to the Rann Utsav. Private luxury coaches operate services to Bhuj from major cities across India. Travelling by train is also an option, with Bhuj being the nearest railway station. From Bhuj, one can hire a taxi or a cab to reach Kutch. Also, air travel is possible through Bhuj airport, with both private and government airlines.

Festival Highlights:

  • The carnival attracted a daily footfall of over a thousand people, supported by a dedicated team of around four hundred hospitality staff managing various tasks.

  • The Utsav starts from the reception area, where guests are greeted warmly. A spacious conference hall is designed for large gatherings, while a lively clubhouse invites people to engage in indoor games and enjoy the festivities.

  • Explore mirrors, Bandhani sarees and other captivating artworks.

  • The tents are arranged in a C shape, each accompanied by a dining hall that spans a vast area of 1200 square meters.
