Experience the beauty of colorful flowers at Tulip Garden Srinagar- opened from March 23

Get ready to experience the pure beauty of profusion of beautiful flowers at Asia’s biggest Tulip Garden in Srinagar. Named as Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden get opened for public from march 23rd. During past 2 years, tourist remain deprived to witness the beauty of garden due to pandemic, but this year it is going to welcome with complete makeover boasting 15 lakh tulips of 65+ varieties. Hoping to attract major attention of tourists, officials are very positive with large production of tulips of different varieties & colors. 

A brief about Tulip Garden, Srinagar

Located on the foothills of Zabarwan range is spread in 30 hectares of Daman area near Dal Lake. After its inauguration in 2007, it attracts thousands of tourists every year in the spring season. PM Modi, focusing in Indian tourism had also tweeted the images of Garden that draws attention of many tourists. The garden area has been also expanded to make visitors stroll more comfortable. To enhance the color vibrancy of garden, other flowering plants as Hyanciths, Daffodils, Nariscuss, Muscari have been planted. 

This year, new arrangements have been made keeping tourists changing preferences. Lane of water channels is established to give different angle of photographic view. The open-air cafeteria makes it easy to stroll of 3-4 hours amid bounties of beauty.

The annual tulip festival will also held & will begin from 4th April to 10th April. The festival will showcase the valley’s rich culture and beholding sights for nature lovers.

Tulip Garden 2022 Timings: It will remain open form 7 AM to 7:30 PM all days of week.
