Kashi Vishwanath Corridor Inauguration by PM Narendra Modi

The establishment stone for the Kashi Vishawanath Redevelopment project was laid on March 8, 2019, to reestablish the “lost brilliance” of the spiritual spot with speculation of Rs 800-crore. PM Narendra Modi introduced the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor that interfaces the antiquated Temple of Shiva, Kashi Vishwanath Temple to the ghats of the Ganga in Varanasi. PM Narendra Modi on Tuesday led a meeting with the chief ministers of BJP administered states in Varanasi. The PM recently visits his parliamentary electorate Varanasi for a two-day where he initiated the recently developed Kashi Vishwanath Dham Phase 1 at an expense of around Rs 339 crore on Monday. On 14th December at 3:30 PM, PM will go to attend the 98th-anniversary celebrations of Sadguru Sadafaldeo Vihangam Yog Sansthan at Swarved Mahamandir. With the corridor 23 structures from the tourist facilitation focus to Bhogshala, City Museum, food court, and review exhibition will be inaugurated.


Stone-made models of Bharat Mata, sculptures of Saint Adi Shankaracharya, and Maharani Ahilyabai Holkar have been erected in the sprawling revamped Kashi Vishwanath Dham complex. Besides, enormous banners of Maharani Ahilyabai who developed the current construction of the temple is around 1780 A.D were put up to honor the Holkar queen.
Elaborate curves and fantastic doors have been built in heritage architecture style in four ways, facing the antiquated temple at its center. Building walls facing the roads prompting the place of worship have been painted in uniform light pink tone and numerous structures have been enlightened and embellished with flowers for its inauguration on Monday.
Streets have been improved, Railway station at Manduadih has been redesigned with AC waiting lounge and Ganga travels have been planned for tourists. LED screens have been set up all over the city to show vacationer information, history, and architecture of Kashi. The Ganga aarti at Dasaswamedh Ghat will be broadcast on the screens. Travellers can enjoy the mesmirizing view of all ghats on luxurious cruise facility.


The Prime Minister will also take part in a conference of Chief Ministers of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand, alongside Deputy CMs from Bihar and Nagaland. The meeting will give a chance to share administration-related prescribed procedures and is following the Prime Minister's vision of furthering team India's spirit.
The PM portrayed these projects as nation-building projects and India’s endeavors to find and praise its ancient magnificence.
