Travel Industry worldwide is badly affected with COVID bad influence. Where the tourism remains on peak in December & January, Omicron rising fear has curbed all the celebration mood of people. Taking precautionary measure, Governments of many states has banned all Christmas and New Year celebrations in public places, malls or part hall. Mass gathering and cultural events has been also prohibited as cases of new COVID variant is spreading rapidly. As per the order by District authority, No mask, no entry should be strictly ensured at shops/mall/workspaces.
Maharashtra has recorded highest number of new variant cases in India, so BMC has issued new guidelines for public gathering and party organizers for upcoming big events.
Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamilnadu have also limited the number pf people to gather and throw the party. Tamilnadu has extended COVID-19 lockdown restrictions and ban the entry of people on New year eve to stop the deadly spread of virus.
