The decision of Indian Hospitality Company Limited (IHCL) to build two new lodging in close proximity to the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat has been taken in a positive light by tourists who hold the place as a major attraction. The upcoming projects are agreed upon in collaboration with Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd (SSNNL).
The inns namely Vivanta and Ginger Hotels will house 125 & 150 rooms respectively. The facilities that will be offered by both lodgings are ample with a variety of dining and wellness facilities. The projects are said to unwrap by the year 2025. Particularly, the Vivanta is also said to include conference facilities which will be favorable to business travelers who seek the comfort of work among other facilities.
The Sardar Sarovar Narmada Project has been an influential part of the overall advancement of the Statue of Unity. The main objective of SSNNL is to accomplish the Sardar Sarovar Narmada Project which is to comprise the dam, powerhouses, hotel, and other works auxiliary to the Sardar Sarovar Project.
