Watching the recent downtrend in COVID cases curve, many states as Andaman, Sikkim, Goa, Kashmir etc are opening tourism activities gradually with mandatory precautionary guidelines.
Recently, Andaman & Nicobar Administration has announced to open all tourist spots in South Andaman District for everyone adhering COVID appropriate behaviour. Days before, they have announced to open only few sites as Museums, Sound & Light Show at Cellular Jail and NSCB islands. Relaxing guidelines allows social, political, religious, tourist gatherings at parks, playgrounds, stadiums, monuments and other common places. Travellers must be fully vaccinated. Partially vaccinated tourists have to go for RT-PCR test.
February and March being the best months to travel in State in Eastern Himalayas, Sikkim. With snow view point at Yumthang valley & Lachung, tourists throng the state desperately. Sikkim Government had also relaxed the restrictions in Sikkim to function all commercial and tourism activities normally.
