Himachal Pradesh CM launches ‘Apna Kangra APP’ to promote local handicraft work through tourism

On 20th January, 2022 CM Jai Ram Thakur launched Apna Kangra App to offer a hassle-free experience to tourists and local handicrafts workers simultaneously. The new app can help in boosting slae of handicrafts by promoting among self-help groups. 
Motive of App is to empower rural women and offer job opportunities to youth through tourism. The app will facilitate best possible hospitality services in sectors of hotels, homestays and transport for tourists visiting Himachal. With unique face of Himachal tourism, it will also serve as e-marketing platform for SHG products prepared by local women, young people in district. 

At the App launch occasion, The CM also stated about various schemes running and future schemes as Mukhya Mantri Himcare that will ensure that no one will get deprived of quality medical services because of less funds. He also announced that medical reimbursement facility will get extended to all retired employees of HPSEB. 

In field of animal care, he virtually inaugurated Radhe Krishna Cow Sanctuary at kangra. He added further, the state Government aims to build more cow sanctuaries and Cow Sadans across the state for stray cows and other cattle. Form food to shelter, the associated committee will take care of things to protect cow and other cattles. 

Himachal will celebrate its 51st establishment day on 25th January,2022 when the state has de lared complete state. People of Himachal celebrates this day with great enlightment.
